Nominations Sought for Excel Award 2007 The IABC EXCEL Award recognizes contributions to business communication by an organizational leader who is not a member of IABC. These contributions include such achievements as initiating, directing, supporting or sustaining outstanding and effective communication programs. One award is presented each year, provided a sustainable candidate has been identified and nominated by an IABC member or non-member and approved by a majority vote of IABC's executive board. The deadline for submitting nominations for this year's Excel Award is Friday, 28 September 2007. This is a great opportunity to recognize a senior colleague for his or her outstanding communication skills. The process has been simplified this year to a short 300 word proposal. All nominees who make it to the 2nd round will receive a Merit award. The winner will be invited to receive their award at IABC's prestigious EuroComm event in Barcelona from 4-5 February 2008. Your nominee could join the three distinguished former winners: David Radcliffe, CEO, Hogg Robinson plc (2004), John O'Neill, CEO, Axa Ireland (2005), John Leggate (CBE), Chief Information Officer, BP (2006).
